one more question: does the soundlink max also play on its own when it is in the wifi, without a mobile phone/PC? or do i always need the app to start the music. again Stanmore: it plays on its own in the wifi, with 6 programme presets, without a mobile phone.

The speaker has no integrated player or media storage, it is a pure output device that needs a playback device as a source (e.g. pc, mobile or stand-alone player via USBC, audio cable or bluetooth)

Hello back, the Bose is a simple Bluetooth speaker. You always need a playback device (mobile, laptop, etc.) with it.
