Hello, an aesthetic question: does the LED light up permanently? And if so, can it be deactivated? I don't need a "Christmas tree" in the living room...

Addendum to the accepted answer. The LED can be switched off via the web interface - even very conveniently with a schedule if, for example, the LED should not light up at night.

Yes, the LEDs light up permanently. There is no way to switch them off. But the glow is very discreet in my opinion. They are visible as green dots in the dark, but do not illuminate the surroundings.
