I use Cam Link to stream an old Canon HD camcorder.
I don't know now whether your intended use is comparable.

The crucial thing for streaming is that the connected camera:
1. the camera can output a live preview via HDMI
2. does not switch itself off (for example after an hour, which is rather unfavourable in a live stream...). ;-) )
3. the overlays can be hidden (zoom level, remaining storage time, etc.)
4. in which resolution is the live preview output at the HDMI output of the camera?
(there are cameras that do not output the full resolution)

The best thing to do is to try connecting your camera to the TV and see if your criteria are met.

Cam Link will then only show your camera on the PC as a webcam in the system.
