Hello all There is supposed to be a button on the bottom of the mouse with which you can change the DPI. Do I still need the software for this? I am looking for a mouse for my home office and would not like to install additional software on my PC. Thank you for your answer.

Basically, you can set the assignment of the lower button and DPI levels via the software. The whole thing is saved in the mouse and, at least for the DPI levels, also works on other computers that do not have the software installed.
But I have no idea how the button was originally assigned and how the DPI levels were set by default.
I hope this helps you in your decision anyway.
