Question about Amazon Echo Dot (4th gen.)
Hello all The app doesn't work for me and now I'm wondering if it works at all with ios? And if so, which app exactly?

I can only agree with the last comment. Amazon Alexa is not officially available in Switzerland. I was able to install the app via a small diversions by creating a German account in the App Store and getting to the app that way. You also need an Amazon account with a German address.

The Alexa app is now officially available in the Google and Apple app stores.

I assume that you also live in Switzerland and have a Swiss Amazon account. Then it doesn't work with IOS, assume you don't get the Alexa app displayed. I have to install the app on an Android tablet from an APG country. Because the app is not officially offered in the Swiss Playstore there either. But with Android you have the option of installing programmes from a non-Playstore source. The next problem is linking a music service. Amazon Musci is not available for Switzerland. You can link Spotify. But you have to change the Alexa location in the Amazon account to Switzerland.
