Question about D-Link Dcs-8525lh
Hello all We had a previous version of this webcam a few years ago. However, we always needed Java on the web interface to display the video. In our company, however, there is a policy that forbids the installation of Java (for a good reason). Question: If I want to display the image via the browser, do I need Java? Or is it already HTML5 capable? Thanks and greetings Martin
I have been using the product for some time, but I usually access the camera via iPad or iPhone. In connection with the question posed, I tried it today via PC and Firefox. Result: Access is possible WITHOUT Java.

I only had this product in operation for a short time because of the difficulties I had installing and configuring it. But as far as I know from D-Link, nothing can be done without Java. But I don't have any experience. I am completely away from the D-Link cameras because they only support the old Internet Explorer and not a newer one from Windows.
