Do you have 2x 8GB installed, so 16GB total? Because the two designations you provide are 2 different RAM modules. This RAM module here should be compatible, but you would then have to remove one of the two RAM modules that are already installed in your laptop. I would also recommend installing two identical RAM modules of the same size, for example 2x16GB. I would also be interested to know what you hope to achieve by upgrading the RAM, or whether it makes any sense at all? What applications do you use?
