has anyone used this over display port? I really want a screen with display port and if this is not the case this would not fit for me

4K UHD resolution should work with HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 and higher . The monitor has DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0. The monitor has a TN panel what is not the best of the best regading panel technology. Color shift is visible from looking at the screen from the side. IPS panels would be better suited because they do not have this color shift issues.
