Question about PNY Pro Elite

Good day I bought a PNY Pro-Elite 3.0 (1000GB, USB 3.0). The write rate is at best 12 MB/s and even this is not constant. Other USB sticks achieve 4-5 times that (Kingston). What is defective here? The specified write rate (400MB/s) is probably more theoretical...

What interface does your PC have? Before you try to drive your Ferrari through the 30 km zone ;)

The problem must be the hardware, I also bought the stick and it achieves 242 MB/s with me, of course the whole thing is slower when many small files are transferred. The only thing I notice is that the stick reached 47°C on my metal slider, which is pretty hot, but it has to perform well, but I don't know if it will last in the long run.

Writing and reading rates are reversed:

@digitec would be nice if you can change this so that others who have a 300MB/s write USB don't end up here too :)
