Good day To come back to this answer "Fit yes, but would not fit a half format camera (DX) with a full format lens (FX). Better to find a suitable DX lens" Have a Nikon d5200. Is the Sigma 150-600 full frame ( FX) on an APS-C inferior in quality as far as photos are concerned? Best thanks

I've had very good experiences with the combination of the Nikon D5600 and the Sigma. I don't think you have to compromise on quality because you don't have a full-frame camera. Above all, you have killed two birds with one stone: with the DX you have a 900 lens and can switch to a full-frame camera if necessary. With a DX lens you can forget about using it with a full-frame camera...

Not in any way. You can always put a full-frame lens on an APS-C. Your photos will certainly not be worse. Your image detail is smaller than what the lens can deliver. So in the best case you will have better sharpness at the edge of the APS-C image and no / less vignetting than with the full-frame image sensor.
In addition, you are already equipped with a suitable lens for a possible switch to a full-frame camera.
