Did I observe correctly, the new Philips 807 model in 77 inch has two stands like the older 806 model non swivel, and from 48 inch to 65 inch has a centre stand and swivel?
Might still be relevant for people like me who have a soundbar in the front :)

Yes, you have observed that correctly. If you hang the TV on the wall, there is no need for the stand. The 77" has the advantage that the lower amilight is continuous and not interrupted by the central stand as in the smaller models.
