During the installation it says you have to connect the repeater I bought to the router with an ethernet cable, but unfortunately I don't have this option... I wanted to know if there is another way to set it up?

Do I need to install/set up anything to boost the Wi-Fi signal? Or can the repeater amplify any Wi-Fi signal? The router is in the neighbouring flat, so it's hard for me to press a button there. Does the amplification work anyway?

It can also simply amplify an existing WLAN signal without being connected to an Ethernet cable.
