However, you should be able to use the KVM via the USB-C cable as it does not require a driver.

Each of the USB-C#1 and USB-C#2 ports can be considered as an upstream USB hub as well as an input source. Therefore, it is not necessary to configure the USB hub assignment for these two ports.
