I have the set with a 7800 x3d in the system. It works perfectly for me, there shouldn't really be any problems with the 9000s.

You should check the RAM against the motherboard manufacturer's compatibility list (usually available online on the manufacturer's website or product support page). Every motherboard is tested by the manufacturer for RAM and CPU. If your RAM is not listed, this does not mean that it will not work, only that the manufacturer has not (yet) tested it. So if you want to be sure, get RAMs that are on this list.
