Does the device work in Switzerland? as I have read in the reviews that it is only intended for EU/UK.

Hello,
The location doesn't matter. The device will connect to a server that you have chosen, regardless of the country.

The mains adapter is 220V, so all you need is a country that is 220V. So no worries for Switzerland
