I have only tested it with the resolution 1680x1050@60Hz and 1920x1080@60Hz - both worked without problems. According to the reviews on Amazon [1], there are sometimes problems with 2560x1440@60Hz, but I haven't tested it myself. Wikipedia [2] says that DVI-D should support up to 2560x1600@60Hz. I think it would be worth a try.
