Does not work with my new MacBook Air (M2). It keeps telling me that the device is not connected. It also shows that an update is available, but as soon as I want to update it, it says that it is up to date. I can't access my data this way. Does anyone have any tips for me on how to solve this? Thank you!

Does the SSD appear in the hard drive utility? (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility)
If so, you can select it there and reformat it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled) under "Erase".
