Does anyone know whether this monitor can also be used with a MacBook? Especially an older model. My MacBook has already failed to work with 2 other monitors.

It only worked for me after I bought an adapter for the display port and connected the monitor that way

There is no obvious reason why the monitor should not work with a MacBook (even an older one). A digital graphics interface/connection (HDMI 2.0 or DP 1.4) is required. The MacBook should automatically recognise the optimum resolution. - When installing the Philips Evnia 27M2C5501, it is worth following the instructions carefully, as the 'one-button' navigation in the menu is not easy at first. In my case, the monitor shows its best side with a WIN11 laptop.

Hello !
I have 2 and I use them with a Windows PC and a Mac Pro (ashtray) and it works perfectly if you have the right connectors.
Best regards
