It doesn't work with the Lightning cable, not even with a SUB adapter on the Lightning port, it only works with the iPhone that has a USB C port. All others with the Lightning connection do not work, I was extremely upset, this is a bottomless impudence from Apple. I have tried this with various iPhone models. :-(
