Does anyone else have these very apparent vertical bands that become visible when content moves horizontally (such as in a panning shot or in any games)? They are visible across the entire screen and regardless of content or brightness. To me the tv is basically unusable in this state. Especially for gaming. There are also some big brightness uniformities when displaying solid colors (I think it's called "dirty screen effect"). This I knew to be a potential issue before hand and I find it less problematic. But I just kind of cannot believe that a sticker price CHF 3'000 tv would have issues like these. Some tradeoffs for the size I was expecting, but do you just accept these display conditions, do you not notice them or is my panel just an especially bad one?
I also have colour deviations, especially with bright pictures. It's much less noticeable with dark colours. In the meantime, however, I only notice this rarely. For me, however, it's clear: in future I'll only have OLED in my house, nothing else, and I'd rather have 2-3 inches smaller, but a top picture. My older 65-inch OLED model (also from LG), which I still have in use in another room, doesn't have these problems and delivers an impeccable picture that is a joy to watch.
Hello, what you are describing is the dity screen effect. This can also be seen on my model. Unfortunately, this is very common with LCD TVs. Depending on luck or bad luck, you may get a device that has the problem more or less pronounced. I own a second Samsung TV myself. Also a top model of the QLED series and also has the problem. I don't think it can really be avoided. The only thing you can do is have the device replaced if still possible. However, you may then get a better or worse device.
Hi, I've never had any problems and I've been using it intensively since I got it (10 hours a day on average).
For those who say that the halo is annoying between light and dark contrast, it is quite pronounced, as on all QLED TVs. The only way is an OLED, but for intensive use, there's a risk of burning the screen. Understanding it is complicated.
I have had this TV for 2 years now and have never had such problems. However, this TV is not necessarily designed for playing games on it
Yes, unfortunately I only noticed it 3 weeks later, if you pay attention to it, it's very annoying, even the halo with strong contrasts (light, dark) is very annoying. I looked at the reviews when I bought it, but only had good ratings. Luckily I bought during a special offer, otherwise I would have been very upset and had prepared myself for compromises.
