You should check the BIOS version of the motherboard (available on the manufacturer's website). If the version is not suitable for your processor, you must update the BIOS using a previous generation processor. When this is done you can finally install your processor. If you don't have a processor to do this update, AMD can lend you one by making a request on their site.
