Do I need a control adapter for the illumination of this fan, or can I connect it somewhere on the mainboard? I can't find anything about it on the internet and there's no detailed instructions on how to use it. Where would the cable have to be connected to the mainboard?(ASUS Rog strix X570-f

You need a 4pin RGB header on your mainboard.
