Question about Sonos Arc
Do I already have Dolby Atmos in conjunction with the Apple TV or do I need more speakers? If so, which ones? Thank you!
Do you just mean connecting AppleTv to Soundbar via TV?
The Arc supports Atmos even without additional speakers. It is important that your TV, where the AppleTv is connected, supports eARC and not only ARC. Otherwise, Atmos cannot be transmitted. Basically, the difference between Atmos and classic 5.1 is not extremely audible. I would say that with Atmos, the nuances are simply more pronounced and you have more of a feeling that the sound is coming from various directions. However, I can't really make out a sound "from above" with the Sonos Arc.
It definitely sounds better if you test the system with additional rear speakers and subwoofer.
