Do any of you understand why this TV should still cost CHF 2970? I have seen that the successor model is listed at a lower price. And at the competition, this model currently costs less than CHF 1000.-. That makes absolutely no sense ecologically or economically. I hope Digitec doesn't want to sell the TV at this price (that would almost be cheating the customer).
Well, it could be a supply bottleneck situation, but since the device is already from 2020, it should not be easy to get it.
Personally, I would only buy an OLED TV, less important whether from LG, Sony, Samsung or Philips or Panasonic, but you have to know: a Samsung OLED will never support DolbyVision, there is always only HDR10 or HDR10+, because Samsung does not support any other formats, only what they develop themselves is right for Samsung.
My recommendation for a very good OLED TV would be this model here:
LG OLED65C27LA (4K, OLED, 2022, 65")
If that would be too expensive, Philips also offers a very good 2022 model in 65":
Philips 65OLED707 (4K, OLED, 2022, 65")
And: OLED TVs don't burn in either, the topic is constantly chased through the village by non-OLED fans, but that's not true. The contrast is absolutely top with OLED and only an OLED TV can produce a true black image (everything with LED can only produce dark grey at best).
But everyone has to know for themselves what is best.
