Question about Vu+ Zero
Dear Community, I am thinking of buying this receiver for my parents. However, it would have to work with the SRG Sat Access card. Since the product is already a few years old, I wanted to ask whether this still works at all and which images and plug-ins have to be used specifically for this. I would like to avoid having to tinker with the software forever. Thank you very much!
So I can't imagine that it doesn't need a card anymore. The card is still sold on the homepage and I have only recently received a letter that my v5 is being replaced to v6. And I had to pay 20fr. The only information is that from May 2021 the transporter will be changed, so you have to do a new transmitter search. So a card is needed. But since the Zero is not an official Viaccess. So the card only works with an emulator. I can't write about that here. But just insert the card and it will not work. If you want that you have to buy a Viaccess reciver. Often it is humax.
According to information from SRG SSR dated February 2021, SRG programmes will be switched to satellite reception. The satellite access cards will no longer be needed from spring 2021.
