The read/write speeds are a theoretical value, which is not much use. However, the drive has good error correction, so that even self-burned DVDs are read very quickly and without errors. I can highly recommend the drive, especially at this price.

Unfortunately, I have no idea. It's important to me that it works on a PC and a Mac.
