Can you use the camera for streaming? If this is not the case, what could you use?

Hi,
I got this camera at the time for making videos. I got the Elgato CamLink. Especially for streaming, but the camera is not recognised because it doesn't have a clear HDMI output, so the display doesn't go off when you connect an HDMI. So it can't be used for that. You could use a GoPro or a Canon EOS XXX so with 3 digits (200, 800) that would work. Otherwise a webcam.
