Can you still listen with a cable? I have an old iPod that I run with and it doesn't have Bluetooth.

No, only Bluetooth is possible.

You could attach a Bluetooth jack adapter to the iPod (e.g. https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product/ugreen-bluetooth-adapter-auf-35mm-jack-usb-20-35mm-mobilgeraet-adapter-15825442), but in a hurry I only found ones that still have to be powered via USB. Maybe there are also some with a battery.
