Can this product be connected directly to a smart TV? If so, with what type of cable?

Hello, this is a CD-DVD burner which is connected to the laptop or PC with a USB cable.
I don't know whether this burner can also be connected to a Smart TV.
I suspect not, since an HDMI connection is necessary for the picture transfer.
I advise you to use a CD/DVD or BlueRay player that is connected to the Smart TV via an HDMI cable.
