can this device also be connected to a normal PC? the PC only has one connection for one screen.

This docking solution requires a USB-C Thunderbolt connection; such connections are not usually available on normal PCs. It would be possible to use docking solutions that use DisplayLink technology to control additional monitors via USB 3.0.

This docking solution could be used because it can use either the USB 3.0 or the USB-C port of the dock.
