I haven't done it myself because I don't have a heart rate belt. It should be possible, but you can't connect it via Connection>Bluetooth. You have to select the desired sport profile when it searches for the GPS, then you can set other options by swiping upwards. There you will find Settings>Accessories, where you "should" be able to connect the heart rate belt.
