The headphones are wireless, but can also be connected via a cable with a 3.5 mm jack plug (included). The Bluetooth connection with my Sony Xperia worked. I can't say whether it works with an iPod.

That should be possible. I was able to connect the headphones to the headphone output on my smartphone.
