Unfortunately not without a constant connection to your smartphone...

This watch, like many of the Garmin sports watches, has a music control widget that allows you to control the music playing on a compatible smartphone paired via the Garmin Connect app. Play, pause, skip, next track and previous track functions are available through the widget. Additional features such as volume control, shuffle and repeat are only available on certain Garmin devices. The Music Control widget controls the last used media player* on the smartphone for iPhone and Android smartphones.
