Can I use this longer cable as a replacement for the original Sunrise modem cable (for Fritzbox 7390)?

I bought it exactly for this purpose and it works perfectly (so far).
The Sunrise (Cablex) technician even said that it is better to use a single long cable than to extend it with an RJ-45 connector and CAT5 cable.
