Question about LaCie Rugged USB-C

Can I use it, for example, from my Fujifilm X-T4 via USB C to load the images that are on the SD card in the camera over to the hard disk? I need a solution to empty the full SD cards in my camera again via USB C (connected to the Fuji X-T4) when travelling and to place the RAW files safely. Will the HD then do the import automatically? Greetings Simi

Helpful answer

It probably does not work:
1.) The power supply from the camera is probably not sufficient for the hard disk.
2.) The camera would have to recognise the hard disk, will probably not be designed for this.
Solution:
My recommendation: I always take enough SD cards with me on holiday, then I reduce the loss in case an SD card fails. SD cards have become very inexpensive. Plus, in a quiet minute I can sort out / delete the pictures on the camera.
Or:
If you have a tablet, you can use a micro SD in the camera and pull it out of the tablet if the tablet has a micro SD card reader.

I would rather invest the money in many SD cards. No source of errors when loading onto the HD, SD cards are not stolen and if the HD is defective, the pictures are gone, if it only hits one SD card, the damage is smaller. Such a "fancy" HD, however, is more likely. For data security, I always have many SD cards when I travel and load them into the cloud at the next broadband connection. My tip, my opinion. Greetings

No, as far as I know that is not possible.

However, it is possible with this HD.
