Can I use a Nuki Smart Lock Pro 4th Gen with a corresponding adapter on a rotary knob? According to Nuki, this model is only possible for cylinders with a key?

Exactly. You need to dismantle the rotary knob and get the adaptor for the brand of door. It costs next to nothing, or even free with the appliance.

Yes, I use it in exactly the same way. It must of course be possible to remove the rotary knob.
