Can I shoot with the card and it backs up the pictures in the background directly to my smartphone? How long does it take for a... 24mp RAW is transferred when the mobile phone is right next to it? You would then have to create a hotspot - wouldn't you?
PLEASE forget this product. I bought it and tried everything - it doesn't work. I now use the card as an (expensive) SD card - I can't get WLAN to work in any constellation.
Toshiba points out on their website that the card can ONLY be used as WLAN on those cameras that are listed on their compatibility list. After I finally found the list at Toshiba, I realised that my (older) camera was not on it. Tough luck.
Suggestion: Forget the WLAN card -- better buy a camera with built-in WLAN.
It's more expensive, but a) it works for sure and b) you're guaranteed better performance and c) you can use any of your SD cards. I wouldn't recommend this "wifi card" to anyone unless they have a camera that is on the Toshiba list. Then it might work.
i could not connect the card to android phone or ipad ... and have retuned it with deduction ... unfortunately
Hello, writing images to the card and backing them up at the same time unfortunately makes no sense. The card and the read/write module are clearly too slow for this. Of course, you can view the pictures on your mobile phone at any time. The card builds up its own WLAN, which you can connect to. Of course, backing up all the pictures takes a while, because with 64GB capacity it doesn't work immediately. Greetings
