Question about Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic CH

Can I pair the Watch with a Huawei Mate 10 Pro (EMUI version: 12.0.0). I am aware that some functions are only available with a Samsung Galaxy mobile (e.g. ECG). However, I unfortunately had to send the Galaxy Watch 5 back because it could only be paired with Samsung Galaxy mobiles at the beginning. The assistant in the Android app "Galaxy Wear" did not even allow the watch. Maybe Samsung has become less restrictive in the meantime?

According to the manufacturer's homepage, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic must be paired with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with Android 10.0 and at least 1.5 GB RAM, which is why I assume that the Watch is unfortunately not compatible with your Huawei mobile. I would prefer a Huawei Watch, as there are certainly no compatibility issues that way.

Additional note: According to https://www.samsung.com/us..., the watch should be compatible with this mobile, as EMUI 12 is based on Android 11 and the mobile has 6 GB RAM.
