Can I combine 2 Devolo dLan 1200+ WIFI Starter Kits so that I then have 4 WIFI access points? Or is it then 2x LAN and 2x WIFI?

I think so, at least the receiver. I doubt whether an extension can be achieved with the actual sending device.
