Can I also use the headset with my PS5? If so, can the headset be conveniently plugged into the controller?

yes, it has the normal cinch connection and can be plugged into the DualSense controller "from below".
By the way, I find the acoustics quite ok for this price.
Don't forget: in the PS5 menu you can choose whether the audio should automatically switch to the headset. The balance between ingame and chat volume can also be adjusted via the PS5 menu.
