Without an external amplifier you will have no joy. The KHs have a resistance of 250 ohms, terminals without enough power will not produce enough volume.
On a Mac, you would have to connect an external USB amplifier.
Basically, these headphones are not suitable for direct connection to a TV or smartphone, for example.
