Can I also use the device for Sonos speakers even if there is no internet access available?

This is useless because it is an access point that you could connect to an existing router to connect a device to the LAN. To set up a WLAN, you need a WLAN repeater, e.g. this model is ideal, it is inexpensive and also has fast Gbit connections. With it, you can set up a WLAN, which the Sonos speakers can then connect to.
