I haven't tried it yet but it seems possible.
There is an option to connect the device as a webcam (connected directly with the cable: via an option called UVC mode).
For the streaming option, I don't recommend streaming and at the same time having the current continuously powered (power cable connected). Here is a link that talks about connecting the device to the computer (#1).

The camera does not have a WiFi connection (built-in wifi comm. module).
In the 2nd link, there are questions about this camera. A little too commercial this site but at the end, you can find the questions (GPS, dimensions, weight, wifi, ...)
