But I also have a question: I use this extractor to connect my Apple TV 4 to a projector and at the same time to my hi-fi system via an optical cable. It works fine, except that the voices on Netflix are extremely quiet. However, it works fine with Teleboy or Youtube. What could be the reason for this?

In the settings on the Apple TV, you can set "Level the volume". But it varies depending on the film and series.
