Besides the C5i tripod, there is also the C6i, which is also made of carbon. Does anyone know what the difference is between the C5i and the C6i? The only difference I have read so far in the description is that the C6i has a max. load of 12kg compared to 8kg for the C5i and that the C6i is minimally heavier than the C5i. And that for a price difference of just under 40 francs?!

Exactly....
i own the C6 because i find it more robust.... that is of course subjective....
I have looked at both (aluminium version) and the difference is minimal but noticeable...
So decide: robustness against weight

The C6i is bigger than the C5i. That is the difference. However, there are more stable tripods than these Fotopro tripods with Rollei lettering. For example from Benro. The C6i was too wobbly for me and it also creaked.
