Are the 2018 Iconx louder than the 2016 Iconx? In the Digitec review of the 2016 it was written that the volume has to be set almost to max for it to be acceptable.

Mine are too loud to listen to music at full volume all the time. So there's no problem with the maximum volume. If you want to listen to music very loudly in between, there are probably louder models.

I recently put my newly purchased IconX 2018 in repair precisely because of the volume issue.... Let's see if that can be fixed or if it is still a problem. So I would be rather cautious about buying one...
