Question about Sony WH-1000XM4
After hours of searching, trying, etc., I soon get started: The microphone (input device) of the WH-1000XM4 is not recognised under Windows 11 on a Surface Laptop, only as a headphone (i.e. output device). I have tried everything possible, read x tips (e.g. I don't have a button to set it as the "Default Communication Device"). Even updating the Intel Bluetooth Driver to the latest version 20.93.0 (including logging off all Bluetooth devices and rebooting) didn't help. I think it's a Windows problem, but which one?

it doesn't solve your problem, but i advise you not to use the internal microphone, because: https://www.reddit.com/r... the microphone is useless even for mobile calls. if you have other plans, the options in this article may help.
