According to the description here, the headset is optimised for Skype for Business. But how is it connected to a PC/notebook? What is correct now?

Everything that comes from the manufacturer is correct. You already have the official instructions. If it doesn't say anything about Skype, then so be it.

The only thing I have found in connection with Skype is the general Jabra 900 series advertisement. There you can see all the different models (including the Pro 920) and it also says "Skype optimised" but not for all models.
