According to information from UPC (as of November 2018), there is no longer a CI+ Card from UPC. I only have Basic TV from UPC. According to UPC, the antenna cable can now be connected directly to the TV without a UPC box in order to receive Basic TV (85 channels including HD). Does this also work with the Panasonic recorder, or can I still record 3 programmes in parallel?

I have exactly this situation with the same Panasonic device. I plugged the TV cable from the socket directly into the device. This way I can record 3 parallel programmes. In the TV set, which has its own tuner, I can watch another, fourth channel directly.
