Question about Xiaomi GaN Charge

65 W is already quite a number. Can you "damage" a standard Xiaomi Mi mobile phone if you expose it to such a powerful fast charger? When I look at comparable fast charging systems from Samsung, for example, this one only offers 25 W? Is this fast charging system more for notebooks and other larger hardware?

The power supply supports Xiaomi's fast flash charging, PD 3.0 (power delivery) and other fast charging protocols.
The device tells the power supply how much voltage it needs. If there is no agreement, it simply provides the usual USB 5 volts, with up to 3A (that would be 15 watts).
